The Valorous 101 - Put the bad guys on the run!
The Valorous 101 (aka V101) is a Valor Tabletop Roleplaying Game, loosely based on Platinum Games' The Wonderful 101, revolving around Super Sentai/Power Rangers style teamwork, ridiculous levels of escalation, and fighting for Love, Justice, and Hope against an overwhelming threat.
OVERVIEW:
For those familiar with the game, this will be a relatively clean slate AU, all named/important characters are AU'd out, but most concepts remain similar to they are in base canon.
FOR THE UNFAMILIAR: By day, you're an average Joe (or Jill). Maybe you're older, maybe you're a high school student, but all of you have one thing in common:
You aren't average. Not in the least. All of you are CENTINELS, multinational specialists and agents stationed all around the world, part of a task force dedicated to defending humankind from an extraterrestrial threat it's faced twice already. This task force is called the Valorous 100. By donning a Valor Mask and going anonymous, your CENTINEL Suit activates, giving you superhuman abilities - not the least the power to Unite, linking your suits together for powerful abilities!
Of course, a multinational team is nothing without a threat - and it seems for the third time, an extraterrestrial threat has set its sight on wiping out Earth. Their motives unknown, their power overwhelming, it will take every member of the Valorous 100... and maybe even then, 100 might not be enough. There are rumors that there was once a 101st member of the Valorous 100, but of course, that can't be right, can it?
MECHANICS:
Valor with errata, houserules and some likely experimental rule variants. When this gets closer to running I'll be figuring things out more.
PLANNING:
Looking for no less than four, and no more than six brave souls to go anonymous and kick some alien butt. Initial thoughts are that all members of the party are already members of the Valorous 100, but that may change. This game will likely launch sometime after VALR hits Season 3, whenever that may be. Early estimates put that at late Summer 2017.
